Jeralyn Black named Youth Of the Year

Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana is thrilled to announced Miss Jeralyn Black as the 2023 Youth of the Year for our region.

Black, a senior at Ruston High School, has been a member at our Ruston Clubhouse for the past 10 years. She is a member of the Ruston High School Volleyball team and Advanced Choir. She also enjoys modeling and is a graduate from the Barbizon modeling and acting school.  Post-graduation Jeralyn plans on attending Grambling State University to major in Psychology with a minor in Performing Arts. 

For 75 years, the Youth of the Year program has honored and celebrated the nation’s most inspiring teens and their incredible journeys. Stories of outstanding leadership, service, academic excellence and dedication to living a healthy lifestyle have made Youth of the Year America’s premier leadership and recognition program for teens.

These amazing young people represent the voice and spirit of hope for America. Inspiring all kids to lead. To succeed. To inspire.

Jeralyn will compete for the title of Louisiana Youth of the Year later this year.
