Yard Sign Campaign “Pray for our Schools” entering its second year

As we begin another school year with COVID concerns, the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana is reviving its Yard Sign Campaign to urge our community to pray for our schools as our kids and teachers enter another school year full of unknowns.

Our mission at the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana is to provide youth in North Louisiana a safe, supervised environment where they can develop into positive, productive members of society. That desire goes beyond the kids inside our Club houses.

We believe children need to be in school and the importance of a quality education, interaction with classmates and access to social services and warm meals. However, the COVID-19 pandemic leaves all of us with concerns for the importance of safety and health for not only the kids, but teachers and other school personnel as well.

These thoughts and feelings prompted us to revive our attempt to blanket the North Louisiana communities with yards signs that urge and remind everyone to “Pray for our Schools”, especially with the new COVID variants.

With a minimum $20 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana, our staff members will deliver your yard sign to your residence or business. These donation dollars will help our operating costs that have increased due to the increased safety guidelines and precautions. This will also help offset the loss from canceling our planned annual fundraisers, including our Annual Youth Sports Banquet that we introduced to the community in 2019.

To order your yard sign, visit our website BGCofNL.org or mail your donation to PO Box 1769, West Monroe LA 71294. We will have your yard sign in your yard within 24 hours of receiving your donation.
