Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana Hosts Annual Triple Play Day
Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana recently hosted its annual Triple Play Day, bringing youth from across the region together for a full day of activities focused on mind, body, and soul.
“Triple Play Day is one of our favorite events of the year because it’s high-energy and the kids really have a lot of fun,” said Sabrina Love, Chief Program Officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana. “We have the incredible opportunity to provide an environment where our Club kids can challenge themselves physically while building strong leadership and communication skills.”
Held during National Boys & Girls Clubs Week, this year’s event focused on health and well-being. The day encouraged young people to make positive choices through engaging games, interactive activities, and team-building exercises.
“It was incredible to see teens and younger kids from our different locations connect and cheer each other on,” said Brianna Giles, Ruston Club Unit Director. “We want our kids to have the tools they need to make positive, healthy decisions for a lifetime.”
The organization would like to thank the volunteers and staff who made this event possible, the Lincoln Health Foundation for its support, and the Ruston Sports Complex for hosting the event.
