Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund awards BGC the Full Club Experience

The Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund recently awarded Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana a $2,500 grant to help give our Arcadia Club members the full Club experience. 

The funds received from Weyerhaeuser will help provide supplies to keep the Arcadia Clubhouse thriving as it continues to increase its members in the afterschool program. As BGCofNL expands, the organization has observed that rural communities often lack the people and programs needed for their youth. As a growing Club site, additional staff, supplies and funding is needed to program implementation. 

Supplies will include healthy snacks, chrome books or tablets in a charging cart, tutoring supplies and academic resources. It will also help with supplies for our recreational programs, as well as table games.
