Living Well Foundation makes one of its largest investments to Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana

The Living Well Foundation recently announced its selection for non-profit agencies in Ouachita Parish and surrounding parishes to receive grant money that primarily focuses on the health and well-being of the community.

Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana was one of the 17 chosen by the foundation, which received one of the largest investments in funding projects towards expanding our footprint, including new Club sites in rural areas.

Boys & Girls Clubs of North Louisiana opened three new sites in the past year, including Monroe, Bastrop and Farmerville. The grant money will help fund the afterschool programs in the rural sites as we establish our mark and become the go-to option for parents who are in need of afterschool care.

All of our Boys & Girls Club sites strive to use the time after school to provide a safe place to learn and grow. Our staffs across North Louisiana do so by being intentional about building ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals and instructing life-enhancing programs and character development experiences.

The Living Well Foundation is a public non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the health, wellness, and quality of life in northeast Louisiana. Founded in 2006, the Living Well Foundation serves the residents of Caldwell, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland and Union Parishes.
