Welcoming Leland to the Club!

Leland became interested in the Boys & Girls Club after hearing his friends talk about what they get to do after school. Learning about how much fun he could be having, he begged his mom to sign him up!

His mom even heard him reciting the BGC Code he learned from his friends and immediately went to our Clubhouse to get an application for Leland! After just one week at BGC, Leland has already established his favorite things about our afterschool program - which include STEM projects with his friend Caiden.

A few days after becoming a Club kid, Leland got the chance to talk to our CEO, El'donte Osborne. He said "the people here are AMAZING! I'm having a great time." At our clubhouses, we want to give this experience to as many kids as possible - including those currently on the waiting list.
